About Pondera
Pondera Winery is a family owned, boutique winery located in the Warehouse Winery District of Woodinville, Washington. Winemaker, Shane Howard, has been making wine since 2003 and the winery was officially launched with the Pondera brand in early 2005. The winery specializes in the production of high quality, well balanced red varietals and Bordeaux style blends. Our grapes are sourced from six outstanding vineyards covering three different AVA’s of Washington state. Each wine is very limited and our entire production is currently 3000 cases annually.
Our on site tasting room features a constantly rotating exhibit of fine art curated by Howard/Mandville Gallery. The gallery is owned by Dan and Pat Howard, who are also partners in the winery. The works shown are all by leading Northwest or nationally known artists and are available for purchase. To view the gallery’s entire collection you may visit in person or on line at
